Record crowds of high school students and their parents converged on the University of Windsor Friday in search of information. At least one student got a little too much at once.
"The only thing I'd change is that there are too many courses," said LaSalle mother Alison Noble, who attended Friday afternoon's open house for high school seniors.
Her 17-year-old daughter Alex isn't sure which program she wants to go into, though she's got psychology and social work on her list. She says she wanted to see more, but all 30 programs held their information sessions at the same times, leaving her to pick just two.
She's thinking of other universities to attend, including the University of Western Ontario, but Windsor's on her list because it would be cheaper for her to go to school locally. "That way you don't have to pay boarding fees," Alex said.
The Nobles were among 3,000 students and parents who attended the open house...
